also, i thought i would take this time to share a hilarious anecdote that i remembered today with you all:


one day (the sunday before he departed) patrick invited me to dinner with his lovely family. we ate, enjoyed, his father told me i was adequately tall, played cards and skyped with his sister in china. in the middle of the skype conversation, patrick and i had to leave so he could take me home. we arrived to the car and he realized he had forgotten his keys. as we enter the kitchen, patrick comes into view of the webcam before me and his sister shouts, "patrick, did you get some aaa..." she stops mid-sentence as i walk into view. sudden laughter erupts. hilarious. i love how awkward i can make people feel.
