This is called being an adult.

life this semester has been busy.
like, super busy.
just endlessly busy.
but busy in that i'm constantly stressin' about the millions of things i have to do rather than busy in that i'm constantly doing the million things i have to do.
and yes, mom, i have been dreaming about my teeth falling out.

i've realized a few things about myself lately.
one is that i am a coward.
i am terrified of change & it feels like that's all my life has been lately.
changed my major.
changed my job.
and i almost didn't do that last one, but then i realized that i was just being a coward.
sometimes i have to do what's best for me and not just what's comfortable.

but hey, everyone.
that's called being an adult, i've learned.
being an adult is when you come home from work feeling tired-in-the-brain instead of tired-in-the-body.
being an adult is when you have to hug your old boss because she nearly cries when you tell her you're leaving.
being an adult is wearing your wolf shirt to bed every night. (wait, maybe that one doesn't belong...)
being an adult is commuting an hour to work & actually working 9 to 5.
finally, being an adult is doing things in spite of your fear.
